thank you,i got it going,bypassing the diode worked,the controller board draws more power then i like,but ill find a work around.
i still cant seem to get my screen working at 5v

At 12v input the top 2 pads get 3v and the leg gets 12v. At 5v input the top 2 pads get 3v and the leg gets 5v.
