Hi,
I got a not working game gear some years ago to restore, but the main processor wasn't working.
So I used the case and a raspberry pi Zero to create a portable 'retro game gear'.
A new circuit board, a new power circuit, a new sound filter were created to get this monstrosity working.
I also used a new 3.2" lcd screen and an arduino micro (to control user input).
Looking for more information about how to create the sound filter, I found otherMod.com and I'd like thanks to Adam sharing my project.
