The PSPi 6 is an interface board for a Raspberry Pi. It takes the place of the mainboard in a PSP 1000, and let’s you use a Raspberry Pi as the brain.

Includes:
-PSPi 6 Mainboard
-2 M2.5 6mm standoffs with screws and spacers
-DC Barrel Jack Connector (soldered by purchaser*)
-Gold Plated Pads for Joystick (soldered by purchaser*)
-Pin Protection Brace
*I perform a visual inspection of the board and flash the firmware before shipping. Thorough testing and final soldering of the barrel jack connector, joystick contact pads, and headphone connector (if you order the Headphone board) will only be done if you request the Solder Avoidance Service.
To complete the build, you need the following:
-A mostly-complete 1000-series PSP (original fat version only)
-4.3″ 800×480 LCD (available here and below)
-Raspberry Pi Zero, Pi Zero W, Zero 2 W, CM4, or CM4 Lite
-Battery with JST PH 2.0mm connector (available here and here and below)
-microSD card (up to 1TB)
-USB to miniUSB adapter (link) for USB mouse/keyboard/flash drive
-PSP Charger (can be the original PSP charger, PSP USB charging cable, or miniUSB cable)
If using a CM4, the following are required:
-CM4 Carrier for the CM4 and CM4 Lite (available here and below)
-USB to miniUSB cable (link) for flashing an OS to the CM4 eMMC
If you want to use headphones:
-PSPi 6 Headphone Board (available here and below)
