PSPi 6 Board

The PSPi 6 is an interface board for a Raspberry Pi. It takes the place of the mainboard in a PSP 1000, and lets you use a Raspberry Pi as the brain.

To Complete the Build, You Need:

▸ A mostly-complete 1000-series PSP (original fat version only)
▸ Raspberry Pi Zero, Pi Zero W, Zero 2 W, or CM4 (Lite or eMMC)
▸ microSD card (except for CM4 eMMC, which cannot accept microSD)
▸ 4.3″ 800×480 LCD (available from eBay, BuyDisplay, and othermod)
▸ Battery (available from HobbyKing, AliExpress, and othermod)

To Power and Charge, Any of the Following:

▸ Original PSP Charger
▸ USB Charging Cable (available from othermod)
▸ MiniUSB to USB Cable (available from Amazon and AliExpress)
▸ MiniUSB to USB-C Cable (available from Amazon and AliExpress)

If Planning to Use a USB Mouse/Keyboard/Flash Drive:

If Using a CM4:

▸ CM4 Carrier for the CM4 and CM4 Lite (available from othermod)

If Using Headphones:

▸ PSPi 6 Headphone Board (available from othermod)

Solder Service Options

▸ No – othermod inspects the board and flashes firmware. The barrel jack connector and joystick contact pads are included but not soldered.
▸ Yes – othermod also performs final soldering of the barrel jack connector and joystick contact pads, and tests of all board functions.
