i have the ver. 3 kit and motherboard and can't figure out the wiring required for the headphone jack. Looking at this picture

Headphone Pins

Starting at the lower left corner and going clockwise the pins would be 1, 2, 3 and 4, with 4 being the single pin on the right side.

Can anybody identify the wire hookup to the Ver. 3 kit board? Thanks in advance.

Bottom left (#1) is ground, middle (#2) is positive (for right headphone), top (#3 or #4) is positive (for left headphone). I can't remember whether it's the top left or the top right that is the positive for the left headphone, but you can just connect them together.

Thanks for that information, just what I needed. So just to confirm:

Pin #1 ---> HG (on Green version of board)

Pin #2 ---> HR (on Green version of board)

Pin #3 & #4 ---> HL (on Green version of board)

Correct?

Also what are J+ and J- pads beside the HL and HR pads (respectively) on the Green version of the board?

Exactly.

J+ and - are the power inputs for the joystick.
