I have the same board from your pinned thread that is the last one you posted before calling it a night
This is the closest that you have published to what I have. I just got this in the mail from you today. In your post you removed the component circled in white, but on mine you removed the component circled in red. Also, I dont have the connector I circled in blue. What do I need to do, and where do I attach the wires? See attached

Check out the Installation tab on the LCD product page. This is the newest batch of LCDs I received. They look way different from the ones I was receiving before, but they are modified to work in the same way. The +, -, and composite pins are in the same place and it gets connected to the same 5v points on the board.
Also, looking at the bottom of the board you will see DC_IN, GND11, and AV2_IN. That's the connections for power and signal. They are in the same positions as the same pads on the top of the board.
The modification is slightly different looking because I left one of the inductor/capacitor filters in place to help improve the video signal a little.
Got it thanks! Powered up, need to figure out why it says no gamepad detected though
Also, under you pictorial assembly instructions, there is the 3 files you say to download. The Config.txt wont bring up a download, it just opens the file. So I copied and pasted to notepad, is that ok?
You can right-click and save as to download it intact. Notepad might work, but copying the original file is more reliable.
Ok I ran the configuration for off and all that, but still no gamepad detected, what could that be?
nevermind, got it

Hey othermod, where do you get these LCDs from? I checked out the product page and the link is outdated to a listing on ebay. Can you please update it? I want to get the exact one. Thanks.

Do you have a link to where you bought it from?
Hello othermod, I purchased the LCD you linked me to. I attached pictures of the LCD Driver. Is this another variant that you have not come across or is this the one you received as well? Is it possible to make this work with 5V? Thanks.
Wow that's a weird one. They must have changed the design in the last couple weeks. Are you able to heat the board a little with a blow drier to peel the adhesive off and get me a clean photo of the bottom?
