If you're asking about the PSPi headphone board, instructions will be provided once it's ready.

I just installed the headphone add on board and I noticed lag in the games and sound.  Any recommended fixes?

The headphone board has no effect on performance of the Pi. It only taps into the audio that was already outputting into the speakers.

Is it possible the lag already existed and the headphones just made it more obvious?

Hi,

is there already an assembly guide about the headphone board and if so where can I find it?

The next batch of headphone boards will arrive in a few days, and I'll add some pics to the v4 assembly guide when they get here. Overall though it's as straightforward as soldering the wires to the hole labeled for each color, and plugging it into the v4 board.

OK thanks for the quick reply. So I'll try it as shown on the pictures where the headphone board can be bought.

The headphone board was easy to solder, as the wirecolor are writen on the board, and the sd-card only can sit in one spot.

When the PSPi V4 Headphone Board is connected, the PSPi will not start.
The blue and green wires are the opposite of the picture.
Are the other wires right?

That's exactly the problem. I just went through my box of 8-pin cables and a couple others have the green and blue wires swapped.

To fix, I recommend just soldering the green wire to the blue labeled hole, and vice versa. I guess I'll need to make a post about this. I definitely didn't expect the manufacturer to swap those wires on 1% of them.

The wire order should match the order on the board

has this issue with the wires being swapped been resolved?  I know you mentioned that you got some of the connector wires swapped.

It has been resolved. I found the batch of cables that came in with a couple switched colors. Only a couple people got the ones with switched colors, and I believe everyone got it straightened out.
