need help with original pspi version 2 led and power issue

so ive run into a couple issues. im attempting the original pspi 2 ( https://othermod.com/pspi-version-2/) and have wired everything up for the most part.

Problem 1: in the guide it says the dual mosfet is used so the power switch will work without having to hold it up since it is a spring slide switch. i wired it up the same as the guide but for some reason the pi only stays on when i hold the power switch up. and when i let go, it turns off. So it seems i did something wrong with the N channel wiring? I did EXACTLY what is in the guide so i have no idea.

Prblem 2: the power/charge led is lit green all the time, whether if its off, charging, or on. and i dont understand why or how to fix that.

Did anyone run into either of these issues or know why its happening and/or how to fix them? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

so after some searching, ive come to realize i dont have the files/scripts; config.txt, gpiooff.zip, and gpiobuttons.zip and can no longer be downloaded(takes me to othermod home page when i click on link)

does anyone have these? not sure if it would fix my problems but its definitely something im missing.
