So ive been using the pspi daily for a little while but one issue has been dust getting under the screen, I was wondering if anyone has came up with a good solution. I know the original psp screen had a foam gasket around it and I was thinking of trying to replicate that. If anyone has found a good solution I would love to know it before I start janking something together.
Bring the jank. Some thin foam is a good solution. This screen is a bit thinner than the original, so itll probably need to be about half a mm thicker.
@othermod yeah I used some 1 mm foam laminate floor padding stuff I had laying around beneath the screen (this keeps it right up against the screen (the plastic part)), then some electrical tape around the edge of the screen like the original padding. it seems to be working fine. also kinda off topic but I was thinking of putting a qi charging coil behind the umd door, I should just be able to connect the 5V from the charging board to V_USB right? Also thanks for making such an awesome mod and selling kits for so long!
@gmant0007 Yep qi charging should work fine if you hook to those points. It's gonna get warm though, especially if you have a CM4 in there.
