hi,could i use a psp shell replacement kit, or would i need to use a old psp to use some of the electronics inside,thanks

Some of the electronics and brackets are needed. I recommend buying a broken from eBay. You can use an aftermarket shell, but you'll still need the internals from the broken PSP.
