Good Afternoon

Recieved the v3 board and lcd screen this week. Nearly finished the build but when i go and power it on i am getting all white display on the lcd. If i hook the Pi Zero W up to hdmi i get a picture, any ideas on what could be wrong, the lcd board layout was slightly different to your pictures but i think i wired up correctly.

Thanks

Well, that's a new one. There's not much that can go wrong on those. I'd say either the Pi isn't outputting on the composite line (unlikely), something isn't soldered correctly, or the LCD didn't live through shipping.

You mind sending a couple pics of the wiring?

Hi, i took some pictures this morning of the build, i took it all apart and laid it out on my bench. First pic is hooked up to hdmi. Second is the LCD Screen, looking at more clearly this morning its white to start with but i decided leave it for a while and i can just about see a welcome message from retropie.

Any ideas whats wrong with it?

Thanks

That's odd. Wiring looks good, so it's probably either the composite on the Pi is having issues, or the LCD or controller is to blame. The easiest way to test is for me to send you another LCD.

Before I do that though, try one quick thing. The LCD is on a 40-pin cable attached to the controller, can you disconnect the LCD from the controller and reconnect? Make sure there's no power to the LCD before doing it.

And can you verify that you have composite attached to this pin (yellow) and only this pin

It's just hard to see in the photo.
