That's a new one. The IC (looks like it says G8BAB) appears to be doing the DC-DC work. Do you have a 12v power source and a voltmeter? A couple areas need to be probed so I can figure out what's happening.

Also, can I get a pic straight down showing the IC and traces, and a pic of the bottom of the board?

Thanks for your support.

The IC is GBBAB, I have a voltmeter and a 12v power source.

In attach other photos (one is without the diode!! 😀 ).

Thanks and regards

Ps.

If you need other detailed photos, don't hesitate to contact me.

I saw the response, but my shop orders get priority over free support. I've got some time now.

You say you remove the SS14 diode, and from the picture you took it appears that you didn't install a jumper in place of it. Is that correct? If so, installing a wire between the pads should get you up and running.

It's possible that the voltage is still lower than what's needed. The input inductor may be the issue. Can you take a voltage measurement on both sides of the inductor labeled 331?

Both sides the inductor is 5v (it's possible?!?)

Hello!

I was wondering if you could help me convert my board to 5v. It is currently a 12v board.

Thank you so much in advance for your help!

@nexilla Do you have a 12v power supply to use for testing, and do you have a voltmeter?

@chronic8000 it looks like IC7 needs to be bypassed
