Let me start by saying Hello to all here, just signed up to get involved and learn some stuff.

I have been building Gameboy Zero's for a few months now and just recently stumbled onto the PSPi and was so happy to find this. I have had a PSP 1001 since it cam out and the work being done here is VERY impressive. The Ver. 3 kit is amazing, so well integrated to the existing equipment and structure of the PSP.

I have acquired a green Ver. 3 kit (unused from a member on the Sudomod.com forum) and have a few questions if you don't mind me asking.

1) Is there a complete wiring diagram on the forum that shows all the hookups to the circuit board? If so all my other question might be answered.

2) Does the original charging port of the PSP charge the new batteries of the kit? Or does the micro USP at the top charge the batteries?

3) Do the original Vol + and Vol - of the PSP work within RetroPie, my guess is no since the original Wifi switch it turning the sound on and off?

4) Does the original Wifi switch of the PSP just move a switch on the circuit board, or it it wired to the board?

5) Could the Wifi switch be used to turn the Wifi of a Pi Zero W on and off? I am not sure if that is even possible with the Pi Zero W, have been able to figure out if any of the gpio pins control the Wifi.

6) Has anybody tried squishing a Pi 3 (stripped of Ethernet and USP port and cut down) into the PSP?

7) Is the green version of the circuit board different in anyway from the currently offered blue circuit board in a manner that I need to be concerned about?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Not exactly a complete wiring diagram, but the whole build process is shown on the V3 page. I could throw a wiring diagram together if others think it would help. There isn't a ton of wiring to do though.

2) Does the original charging port of the PSP charge the new batteries of the kit? Or does the micro USP at the top charge the batteries?

The original charging port charges the batteries.  The microUSB is for devices only (keyboard, flash drive, etc).

3) Do the original Vol + and Vol - of the PSP work within RetroPie, my guess is no since the original Wifi switch it turning the sound on and off?

The volume buttons are wired to GPIO pins, so you can enable them in retroarch to adjust the volume if you know your way around the config files.

4) Does the original Wifi switch of the PSP just move a switch on the circuit board, or it it wired to the board?

The switch is already wired to the audio amp.

5) Could the Wifi switch be used to turn the Wifi of a Pi Zero W on and off? I am not sure if that is even possible with the Pi Zero W, have been able to figure out if any of the gpio pins control the Wifi.

You could maybe wire the switch to a GPIO pin and have it look for a connection to ground, and write some code to disable the WiFi. I don't see much benefit.

6) Has anybody tried squishing a Pi 3 (stripped of Ethernet and USP port and cut down) into the PSP?

A dozen or so people claim to be trying. I haven't seen any pictures of any successes. It would be a tight fit. Electrically it would work.

7) Is the green version of the circuit board different in anyway from the currently offered blue circuit board in a manner that I need to be concerned about?

It's not different. I made some changes to the layout to make my assembly part easier. As far as your end, it's the same in every way.
